International Students in Canada Face New Limit on Work Hours

Starting in the autumn, the IRCC has declared that international students can work off-campus for a maximum of 24 hours per week. This marks a change from the pandemic-era pilot program that permitted up to 40 hours of work weekly. The extension of this program lasted until April 30, 2024. During holiday periods, such as the summer months, international students are allowed to work additional hours.
